Audio file size calculator
Estimate an uncompressed PCM file or a constant-bitrate compressed stream from its format and duration.
Did this calculator give you what you needed?
What could be better?
Audio payload before container overhead
PCM size multiplies sample rate, bytes per sample, channels and duration. Constant-bitrate size multiplies bits per second by duration. Headers, tags, artwork and codec behavior can change the final file.
MB and MiB are both shown
MB uses 1,000,000 bytes. MiB uses 1,048,576 bytes. Storage vendors and operating systems may display different units for the same byte count.
