Calendar difference, not an average month
The result walks through full calendar years and months first, then counts the remaining weeks and days. It does not treat every month as 30 days.
How month-end dates are handled
When adding months, the day is clamped to the last valid day of the target month. One month after January 31 is February 28 in a common year and February 29 in a leap year.
